What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Lash Extensions are  made from  synthetic materials or a blend of synthetic material and silk made to replicate a natural eyelash.  When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural lashes. Single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one, I do not use fans unless requested.  With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
How long will a set of Eyelash Extensions last?
When applied by a professional, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. 
How often should I get refill?
Fills are recommended every 2 to 4 weeks.  A refill is needed to fill in any lashes that have fallen due to the natural cycle of your own lashes, or environ,etal factors such as humidity, makeup, or rubbing.  Refills average about 45-60 minutes.
Are Eyelash Extensions safe?
Here at Decorum Lash  only the best, professional  grade adhesive made in the USA is used. The glue is specifically formulated for our low humidity environment.  The extensions are applied about 1mm away from your skin to avoid skin irritation or complications.
How do I take care of my new Eyelash Extensions?
Do not get lashes wet for the first 24- 48 hours.  For longer lasting lashes avoid hot steam or sauna and limit the use of running water directly on your lashes.  Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively and use water based eye makeup remover.  Do not perm your lashes, or use a mechanical eyelash curler and lastly do not pull or pick at your lashes. 
Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?
Mascara is not  alway required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara.  In fact, one of the many benefits of eyelash extensions is that you do not need to use mascara. If you do choose to wear mascara in conjunction with the extensions you must use mascara specifically designed for lash extensions.  DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA as they can dissolve the bonding agent used and they can shorten the life of your eyelash extensions. Use care when washing off the water-based mascara and only use a water based eye makeup remover.
How soon can I wash my face after the extensions are applied?
You must wait 24 hours after your appointment to wet your lash extensions, you can wash around them in the meantime.   
Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing Eyelash Extensions?
Yes. The bonding agent used to apply your eyelash extensions is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc.  However, you must wait  24  hours after the application process to get them wet in order for the glue to bond completely.  
Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?
Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free. Most clients consider the process relaxing.
How long will it take to Apply Eyelash Extensions and how is it done?
The application process for lash extensions normally takes anywhere from 1  to 1  1/2 hours. You will lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed. Your lower lashes will be covered with soothing collagen eye pads and your eyes will remained closed the entire duration of the application process.  The extensions are applied to your upper lashes one at a time.  
How do I choose the look I want?
Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths, thicknesses and curls.  You will have a consultation at the the beginning of the appointment  to explain what style you are interested in. The overall look of the lashes is dependent on the preference of the client.
Do I have to do anything to prepare for the service?
Please ensure to arrive to your appointment WITHOUT makeup.  You should thoroughly clean your lashes with a mild cleanser ensuring all makeup residue is removed. Do not use makeup remover that contains oil to clean your lashes prior to the application.  DO NOT curl your lashes.
I wear contacts. Can I still get lash extensions?
Yes! Since lash extensions do not touch your skin, they do not conflict or interfere with your contacts or normal daily activities.
